Job summary

The TJX Companies, Inc. in Olney, MD is seeking a Key Carrier to support store operations and leadership on site. This role alternates with Coordinator duties, stepping in as Manager on Duty as needed to uphold company policies and procedures.

You will coach associates, ensure adherence to labor laws, and help maintain a safe, high-performing store environment with a focus on customer service and teamwork.

Qualifications

• 1 year of retail experience and at least 6 months in a leadership role.
• Able to work flexible hours including nights and weekends.
• Strong customer-service orientation and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Creates a positive customer experience both in-store and with colleagues.
• Acts as Manager on Duty per policy and procedure.
• Ensures tasks align with store plan and priorities; provides coaching.
• Maintains accurate coverage in service areas to support customers.
• Communicates priorities and progress with management and Associates.
