You will also develop new business, expand existing accounts, and coordinate with Sales Directors to maximize profits while onboarding new products and accounts.

JOB SUMMARY

The Key Accounts Manager (KAM) is responsible for managing key client accounts in the United States sales region. These high-visibility accounts have been identified to make up the highest percentage of income for US business and the KAM must build and maintain a strong, trusting relationship with these clients. The KAM will be the lead point of contact for all key client matters, anticipate clients' needs, work within the company to ensure deadlines for clients are met, and help the clients succeed. The KAM will also bring in new business from emerging markets, existing clients or contacts and develop new relationships with potential clients.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Develop a solid and trusting relationship between key accounts and the company.
  • Become main point of contact for key account(s)
  • Develop a complete understanding of key account needs and work with cross-functional teams to create and execute educational training, technical services and product sales strategies and tactics to meet the account's needs and requirements in a timely manner.
  • Help identify and rectify key account issues and complaints expediently.
  • Write and execute annual business plan for each key account to drive revenue and customer engagement.
    • Schedule periodic business reviews with key stakeholders
    • Prepare regular reports of progress and forecasts to internal and external stakeholders using key account metrics.
  • Collaborate with Marketing and HEI Academy on Educational opportunities and support as appropriate.
  • Play an integral role in identifying new sales opportunities and hold responsibility for collaborating with local ASCs and Sales Directors to maximize profit by upselling and standardization.
  • Focus on growing and developing existing accounts, together with generating new business and hold responsibility for the effective on-boarding of new products and accounts.
  • Collaborate on contracts, if applicable, with Finance and key accounts establishing timeline of performance and deliverables.
  • Collaborate on marketing tactics, if applicable, with Marketing to support the business plan.
  • Communicate ongoing training needs, installation protocols, etc. with Customer Care and CAS team.
  • Correct and maintain accurate information in SFDC for each key account, including:
    • Communications and activities
    • Contacts and emails
    • Business Plan
KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES REQUIRED
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, business administration, sales, or relevant field.
  • Four to five years' previous work experience in sales, management, key account management, or relevant experience
  • Proven results of delivering client solutions and meeting goals.
  • Ability to multitask and manage more than one key client account.
  • Strong negotiation skills, with ability to follow-through on client contracts.
  • Able to analyze data and statistics and translate results into better solutions.
  • Self-motivated and self-directed.
  • Excellent interpersonal relationship skills.
  • In-depth understanding of company key accounts and their position in the industry.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Strong account management and relationship building skills.
WORK ENVIRONMENT

Employee frequently works in a professional office environment with lots of computer equipment and moderate amounts of noise and activity. Employee frequently required to travel and visit key client locations. The work environment is fast-paced and demanding.

Salary Range: $120,000 - $250,000
