Machine Sciences seeks a strategic Key Account Manager to own health and growth of customer relationships in manufacturing-heavy industries. You will lead cross-functional teams, coordinate quotations, and ensure on-time delivery of commitments while driving customer success.
The role requires analytical thinking, proactive problem-solving, and the ability to navigate complex technical requirements across engineering, planning, production, and quality teams.
The Key Account Manager (KAM) is responsible for the health, growth, and success of Machine Sciences' customer relationships. This is not a transactional sales role—it requires a strategic thinker who understands complex manufacturing, technical requirements, and customer operations while delivering an exceptional customer experience.
The KAM serves as the primary point of contact for assigned customers and acts as both a trusted advisor externally and an internal champion for customer success. This role is responsible for developing customer relationships, identifying growth opportunities, coordinating quotations, managing customer communications, and ensuring commitments are delivered successfully.
Success in this position requires someone who can seamlessly move between strategic conversations and detailed execution. The ideal candidate is analytical, highly organized, technically curious, and relentlessly proactive. They anticipate challenges before they arise, coordinate cross-functional teams, and ensure critical details never fall through the cracks.
This role requires a scrappy, solution-oriented mindset—a "Honey Badger" mentality—and someone who embodies Machine Sciences' Core Values of Hungry, Humble, Collaborative, and Smart in every interaction.

Customer Advocacy
Be the internal champion for your customers, advocating for their success while balancing the needs of Machine Sciences.
Proactively identify risks and coordinate solutions before they impact customer commitments.
Build confidence through exceptional communication, responsiveness, and follow-through.

3+ years of experience in account management, sales, program management, or customer success within manufacturing or a technical industry preferred.
