Job Description

As a Key Account Manager for Traffic Solutions, you will be responsible for building and maintaining relationships with customers, understanding their needs, and providing tailored solutions to drive sales and revenue growth. This role requires a strong background in sales, excellent communication skills, and a deep understanding of the traffic marking industry. You will manage the TX, AZ, CO, IL, and WI territories and report to the Key Account Director based in Greensboro, NC.

This is a remote role with travel as necessary. The ideal candidate will reside within the TX, AZ, CO, IL, or WI territory.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Develop a deep understanding of customer businesses, objectives, and challenges to proactively identify opportunities for collaboration and value creation.
  2. Lead and conduct regular meetings, check-ins, and site visits with key decision makers and operational, purchasing, and technical teams to ensure customer satisfaction, address concerns, and identify areas for improvement.
  3. Provide customer product forecasts to support internal demand planning.
  4. Establish a systematic process for collecting and sharing customer feedback with the Key Account Director and Sales Director.
  5. Achieve sales targets by reviewing progress regularly and adjusting strategies to meet or exceed revenue goals.
  6. Measure customer market share and participation in pavement marking materials on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
  7. Stay informed about regulatory, policy, and market changes that could impact the business or customers.
  8. Collaborate with Product Management, Pricing, and Communication teams to develop materials and value-added services that differentiate the company.
  9. Participate actively in demand forecasting activities, analyzing sales data, market trends, and customer behavior to predict future demand.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • Proven experience in B2B sales, managing large accounts, preferably within the Traffic Solutions industry.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport with customers.
  • Ability to understand and communicate technical product information effectively.
