Job summary

Bekaert is seeking a Market Manager NA to lead sales and technical efforts for heating and combustion solutions across the Southeast region (GA, TN, SC, NC, FL, AL, MS, AR, LA). The role reports to the Commercial General Manager, BCT US, and emphasizes growth, key account management, and collaboration with Product Management and Engineering.

The candidate will travel up to 50% (including occasional international travel) and work with North American and Global teams to meet annual volume

Qualifications

• 4-year college degree (Business, Marketing or Engineering) is essential.
• HVAC/R or mechanical background preferred, not mandatory.
• 3–10 years of sales experience with commercial and industrial OEMs.

Responsibilities

• Sell and service key executives within assigned accounts to drive revenue and margins.
• Provide customer support on Bekaert’s heating and combustion product offerings.
• Prospect new accounts and new markets.

Purpose and Mission

We are looking for a Market Manager N.A.

Reports to the Commercial General Manager, Bekaert Combustion Technology (BCT) US, the Market Manager will function as a selling resource and provide sales and technical leadership in the development and growth of our heating and combustion solutions to Bekaert’s identified clients and prospects. This role will be responsible for the Southeast Region(GA, TN, SC, NC, FL, AL, MS, AR, LA)

Key Activities and Responsibilities

• Selling and servicing key executives within their assigned accounts to drive product revenue and margin results
• Provides customer support on Bekaert’s entire heating and combustion product offerings
• Prospect new accounts and new markets
• Support strategic marketing efforts which includes basic research, market studies, import analysis and macroeconomic trends
• Works with their North American & Global leadership to develop annual volume and growth objectives for assigned & target accounts
• Manage OEM account(s) in conjunction with North American team
• Work closely with Product Management and Engineering organization to provide feedback for product and feature enhancements and customer requirements
• Establish and sustain relationships within Bekaert to include the following internal teams:
• Product Management
• Price Administration
• R&D
• Marketing Communication
• Support Americas heating team with digital marketing platform needs and CRM support.

Day-to-Day Overview:

• 50% Working on existing business
• 30% Prospecting
• 10% Marketing analysis
• 10% Marketing communications
• Willingness to travel upwards of 50%
• Occasional International travel

Skills

• Enjoy developing new business, hunter mentality
• Must have great fortitude and demonstrate persistence and a winning attitude
• Highly capable of relationship building with internal and external stake holders
• Very strong computer skills, experienced in Excel, PowerPoint and Word
• Willingness to learn and take on multiple tasks

Previous Experience

• 3-10 years sales experience with commercial and industrial OEMs

Qualifications and Education

• 4-year college degree (Business, Marketing or Engineering) or a related technical degree is essential
• HVAC/R or mechanical background preferred, must show technical aptitude.
