Job summary

The Salvation Army is seeking a Kettle Coordinator to manage daily tasks for the Red Kettle Campaign and support year‑round community aid in Wisconsin. You will recruit volunteers, schedule bell ringing, sign up sponsors, and ensure funds are collected and documented accurately.

The role requires customer service experience, a valid driver's license, and strong organization to coordinate events and maintain kettle equipment in local communities.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer service or sales
• Valid driver's license with approval to drive from TSA's insurance carrier required
• Background in volunteer coordination or community outreach helpful

Responsibilities

• Recruiting and signing up volunteer bell ringers & groups and establishing dates, times and locations
• Contacting via phone or email volunteer bell ringers to schedule ringing times
• Call local businesses to sign them up for kettle sponsorship
• Responsible for sorting kettle money with volunteers per applicable guidelines
• Responsible for transferring money to bank for processing per applicable guidelines
• Responsible for entering daily funds into tracking spreadsheet and online SA tracker
• Promote bell ringing opportunities in the community
• Maintain Kettle Equipment - Keep clean and inspect for damage
• Thank you notes to volunteers and kettle locations
• Make copies of checks dropped in kettles and get them to Field Rep

Job Objective:

Kettle Coordinator is responsible for performing daily tasks necessary for running the Red Kettle Campaign

Essential Functions:

• Recruiting and signing up volunteer bell ringers & groups and establishing dates, times and locations
