The Salvation Army in Wisconsin–Wauwatosa is seeking a Kettle Coordinator to run the Red Kettle Campaign. You will recruit volunteer bell ringers, coordinate schedules, and promote kettle fundraising in the community.

This seasonal role handles collecting funds, transferring money to the bank, and completing end-of-season paperwork. Start date 10/26/26 and end date 12/31/26, with emphasis on customer service and reliable record-keeping to support families.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license with approval to drive from TSA's insurance carrier required.
• Experience in customer service or sales.

Responsibilities

• Recruit volunteer bell ringers and groups and establishing dates, times and locations.
• Contact volunteer bell ringers to schedule ringing times via phone or email.
• Call local businesses to sign them up for kettle sponsorship.
• Transfer money to bank for processing per guidelines.
• Enter daily funds into tracking spreadsheet and online SA tracker.
• Promote bell ringing opportunities in the community.
• Maintain kettle equipment and inspect for damage.
• Send thank you notes to volunteers and kettle locations.
• Copy checks and deliver to Field Rep.
• Complete end of season paperwork and turn in to Field Rep.

Job Objective:

Kettle Coordinator is responsible for performing daily tasks necessary for running the Red Kettle Campaign

Essential Functions:

• Recruiting and signing up volunteer bell ringers & groups and establishing dates, times and locations
• Contacting via phone or email volunteer bell ringers to schedule ringing times
• Call local businesses to sign them up for kettle sponsorship
• Responsible for transferring money to bank for processing per applicable guidelines
• Responsible for entering daily funds into tracking spreadsheet and online SA tracker (to be determined by local Service Rep)
• Promote bell ringing opportunities in the community
• Maintain Kettle Equipment - Keep clean and inspect for damage
• Thank you notes to volunteers and kettle locations
• Make copies of checks dropped in kettles and get them to Field Rep
• Complete end of season paperwork and turn it in to Field Rep
