Job summary

This role involves light outreach, daily data entry, and end-of-season paperwork. Valid driver’s license is required, and experience in customer service or sales is expected.

• Maintain kettle equipment; keep clean and inspect for damage.
• Send thank you notes to volunteers and kettle locations.
• Photocopies of checks; forward to Field Rep.
• Complete end-of-season paperwork and submit to Field Rep.

Job Objective:

Kettle Coordinator is responsible for performing daily tasks necessary for running the Red Kettle Campaign

Essential Functions:

• Recruiting and signing up volunteer bell ringers & groups and establishing dates, times and locations
• Contacting via phone or email volunteer bell ringers to schedule ringing times
• Call local businesses to sign them up for kettle sponsorship
• Responsible for transferring money to bank for processing per applicable guidelines
• Responsible for entering daily funds into tracking spreadsheet and online SA tracker (to be determined by local Service Rep)
• Promote bell ringing opportunities in the community
• Maintain Kettle Equipment - Keep clean and inspect for damage
• Thank you notes to volunteers and kettle locations
• Make copies of checks dropped in kettles and get them to Field Rep
• Complete end of season paperwork and turn it in to Field Rep

Certifications: Valid driver's license with approval to drive from TSA's insurance carrier required.

Experience: Dealing with people in a customer service or sales role
