Job summary

The Salvation Army USA Central Territory is seeking a Kettle Coordinator in Wisconsin to run the Red Kettle Campaign. The role performs daily tasks to support fundraising, recruits volunteers, schedules ringing times, and coordinates kettle sponsorships.

You will sort and transfer kettle money with volunteers, promote bell ringing in the community, and ensure accurate handling of donations under TSA guidelines. Compensation is $17/hour with start date 2026-10-26 and end date 2026-12-31.

Responsibilities

• Sort kettle money with volunteers per guidelines.
• Transfer money to bank for processing per guidelines.
• Promote bell ringing opportunities in the community.
• Make copies of checks and forward to Field Rep.

Job Objective:

Kettle Coordinator is responsible for performing daily tasks necessary for running the Red Kettle Campaign

Essential Functions:

• Recruiting and signing up volunteer bell ringers & groups and establishing dates, times and locations
• Contacting via phone or email volunteer bell ringers to schedule ringing times
• Call local businesses to sign them up for kettle sponsorship
• Organizing kettle pick-ups to include writing out bucket slips
• Responsible for sorting kettle money with volunteers per applicable guidelines
• Responsible for transferring money to bank for processing per applicable guidelines
• Promote bell ringing opportunities in the community
• Make copies of checks dropped in kettles and get them to Field Rep

Minimum Qualifications:

Certifications:Valid driver’s license with approval to drive from TSA’s insurance carrier required.

Experience:Dealing with people in a customer service or sales role
