South Shreveport Animal Hospital is looking for a Kennel Assistant to join our team! We are a progressive, multi-doctor practice proudly serving Shreveport and Bossier City pets since 1985. This is a great opportunity for those who are looking to enter the veterinary field or for those who have previous veterinary or animal-related experience.
This is a part-time position with scheduling needs of Monday 7:30a-1p, Wednesday 1p-6p, Friday 7:30a-6p, and every other weekend.

The SSAH team strives to diagnose and treat Shreveport pets with the highest standard of medical and surgical methods. We primarily provide general wellness services, soft tissue surgery, and dentistry, and we are well-equipped with digital radiology, surgical and therapy lasers, Idexx lab equipment, ultrasound capabilities, and more. Our hospital team is comprised of two (soon-to-be three) veterinarians, tenured technicians and assistants, and a talented support staff and boarding team. Most importantly, our team is committed to providing personalized attention and taking a family-focused approach to pet care in order to best support Louisiana pets and their owners.
