Animal Medical Center of Cumming

We are hiring kennel assistants who are hardworking, confident, and enthusiastic. Our veterinary hospital features a large boarding and kennel facility offering boarding, playtimes, and daycare services. Responsibilities include:

1. Walking dogs
2. Overseeing multiple dogs during outdoor playtimes
3. Providing fresh food and water
4. Cleaning animal waste, spilled food, and debris
5. Checking animals in for boarding, playtime, and daycare
6. Transporting animals to and from the kennel
7. Bathing animals
8. Reading body language and signs of aggression
9. Ensuring safety for all
10. Assisting other hospital staff
11. Cleaning, folding, and stocking kennel laundry
12. Handling animals confidently

Job Details

Type: Full-time

Salary: $12.00 - $14.00 per hour
