This position is based at UHealth Tower and requires on-site presence. The shift involves 3 days of 12-hour shifts with variable days.

Responsibilities include:

• Providing continuous visual observation and surveillance of high-risk patients.
• Monitoring multiple patients simultaneously from a designated station.
• Maintaining a clear view of all assigned patients at all times.
• Using digital audio devices to verbally redirect patients engaging in risky behaviors.
• Notifying nursing staff immediately if a patient requires assistance.
• Utilizing technology for visualization and interventions, demonstrating proficiency with electronic systems.
• Participating in hand-offs and documentation of observations and behaviors.
• Reporting safety issues and ensuring a safe environment in collaboration with the nursing team.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid State of Florida Certified Nursing Assistant Certification.
• Minimum of 5 years relevant experience.
• Skills in accurate task completion, effective communication, organization, and prioritization.
• Ability to work evenings, nights, and weekends as needed.
