Job summary

HJG Staffing is seeking an experienced Construction Project Coordinator to support a busy retail construction team. This hands-on role requires proactive, detail-oriented individuals who own deadlines and follow-up.

You will coordinate projects from setup through closeout, track schedules, manage shop drawings and submittals, and maintain organized project files using Procore and MS Office. Strong communication with vendors, stores and field staff is essential.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of construction industry experience preferred.
• Experience in construction project coordination or administration preferred.
• Adobe Acrobat proficiency required; Procore preferred.
• MS Office (Word/Outlook/PowerPoint/Project) skills required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate active construction projects from setup through closeout with PMs and field supervisors.
• Track schedules, deadlines, deliverables and outstanding action items.
• Follow up with vendors, subcontractors, field personnel to keep projects moving.
• Prepare and submit shop drawings, submittals and material samples.
• Maintain organized electronic project files and documentation.
• Coordinate ordering and delivery of construction materials to sites.
• Communicate scheduling updates with vendors, stores and landlords.
• Assist with bids, resources and punch-list follow-through.
• Prepare project reports and tracking documents for PMs.
