Job summary

JF Construction Services seeks a proactive Project Coordinator to support all stages from scope development to project closeout. You will organize folders, update schedules, and coordinate with the Project Manager and subcontractors to ensure compliance with contract documents and safety rules.

Requirements include 3+ years in construction, strong organizational and communication skills, and proficiency with Microsoft Office; QuickBooks, Sage or Procore are a plus. Bilingual Spanish is a plus.

Qualifications

• 3+ years experience in construction and safety practices.
• Strong verbal and written English; bilingual in Spanish a plus.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and tasks.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office; QuickBooks, Sage or Procore a plus.
• Must pass drug screen, background check, and MVR if driving.
• Office environment with occasional lifting of up to 20 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Set-up job folders, forms and files with details/project information in applications; perform project updates including dates, phases, cost types, change orders, back charges, etc.
• Coordinate with Project Manager and subcontractors to ensure compliance with contract documents, safety rules and quality requirements to maximize production and reduce downtime.
• Coordinate and manage all project documents from pre-construction to closeout, including compiling backup for contracts, change orders, time & material, and other extra work billings.
• Coordinate/support field staff and project team to ensure all items are in place to track a successful project, including communication, budgets, daily logs and time sheets.
• Prepare subcontracts and purchase orders for approval.
• Initiate and track documents through contracts, subcontracts, RFIs, submittals, proposed change orders, etc.
• Receive and approve contractor/subcontractor/vendor invoices, reconcile and obtain lien releases, and approve release of payments.
