Job summary

American Seafoods in Seattle is looking for an Accounting Assistant to enter KDH AR invoices in SAP, process KDH AP invoices in Aavenir, and compile weekly operations reports. The role is fully in-office with Monday–Friday hours.

Required: 1–2 years as an accounting assistant or clerk; college degree desired but not required. Strong data entry, Excel and Word skills, reliability, and good communication. SAP knowledge is helpful and benefits include medical, dental, vision, and 401K.

• Reliability and dependability.
• Strong data entry skills and basic computer skills including Excel and Word.
• Working knowledge of SAP helpful.

Responsibilities

• Enter KDH AR invoices within the SAP accounting system.
• Enter KDH AP invoices within Aavenir invoice flow for payment out of SAP accounting system.
• Compile and send out Weekly Flash Operations Report Every Monday.
• Stay on top of general administrative duties associated with scanning, copying, filing, ordering supplies, coordinating mailouts, FedEx shipments etc.
• Maintain files for AP, AR and other documents to assist KDH Accounting Administrator for record keeping.
• Point of contact for ordering/maintaining supplies necessary to support Dutch Harbor operations.
• Point of contact for ordering/maintaining supplies necessary to support Seattle office operations.
• Make deposits and record incoming KIF, KDH receipts for daily cash reconciliation.
• Generating reports/documentation for management as directed
• Keep KDH kitchen area clean, organized and well stocked.
• Replace toner for printers, copiers, and paper as needed.
• Retrieve mail daily and distribute accordingly.
• Carry out miscellaneous errands inside or outside the office as requested.
• Other projects/assignments, as needed.
• General accounting knowledge helpful

Work Schedule

Anticipated hours are: Monday – Friday 8:00AM - 5:00PM

Please note this position is fully in office.

Compensation: $50,000 - $65,000/DOE - Non-Exempt
