Job summary

American Seafoods Group is seeking an accounting assistant to handle AR and AP entry in SAP and Aavenir, generate weekly operations reports, and maintain organized financial files. The role supports Dutch Harbor and Seattle office operations, with a focus on accuracy and timely processing.

The position requires 1–2 years of accounting experience, a college degree is preferred but not required, and a strong eye for detail in a fast-paced team environment.

Qualifications

• College degree preferred but not required if experience met.
• 1–2 years’ experience as an accounting assistant or clerk position.
• Experience with SAP and Aavenir is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Enter KDH AR invoices within the SAP accounting system.
• Enter KDH AP invoices within Aavenir invoice flow for payment out of SAP accounting system.
• Compile and send out Weekly Flash Operations Report Every Monday.
• Maintain files for AP, AR and other documents to assist KDH Accounting Administrator for record keeping.
• Make deposits and record daily cash reconciliation for KDH.
• Generate reports/documentation for management as directed.
• Support Seattle office operations and Dutch Harbor operations supplies.
