Job summary

Amentum is seeking a Network Engineer 2 for a position on Kauai, HI. The role includes network engineering support, security, administration, and management for PMRF mission networks, with responsibilities spanning configuration of routers, switches, firewalls, and other devices in accordance with DoW/DoN/PMRF policy.

The candidate will provide Cyber Security SME support, troubleshoot across live and standdown environments, and ensure 100% compliance with DoW IAVM programs.

Qualifications

• Two (2) years of Network Administration experience.
• Knowledge of IT networks and advance IT networking concepts.
• Proficient in operating personal computers, software and standard office equipment.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Critical thinking - proven problem solver.

Responsibilities

• Operates, maintains, and configures network hardware and software for classified and unclassified networks.
• Develops engineering, security implementation, and integration plans for new network systems.
• Provide escalation support and training for junior team members.
