Job summary

Flathead Industries in Kalispell is seeking a dedicated professional to teach and demonstrate habilitation services to individuals with developmental disabilities. You will work with one to four individuals at the Kalispell Thrift Store, aiding in daily tasks and client support.

Responsibilities include implementing and evaluating individual program plans for work training, plus actively participating in thrift store duties such as receiving goods, processing, and stocking.

Qualifications

• Education and experience equivalent to a high school diploma and completion of occupationally specific training.
• Ability to pass criminal and other background checks.
• Valid Montana Driver's License and insurability for operation of company vehicles.
• Successfully complete phase 1 of Flathead Industries Career Path Trainings.
• Ability to lift, move, or handle items weighing 50 pounds.

SUMMARY:

This position will teach and demonstrate habilitation services to individuals with developmental disabilities. This person will work with one to four individuals at the Kalispell Thrift Store.

Responsibilities include assisting in implementing, assessing, and evaluating individual program plans for work training services. Client specific training will be provided and employees will be required to follow set guidelines for each individual based on the need of the person we are providing services to.

In addition this position will actively participate in all thrift store assignments such as accepting goods, processing such goods and stocking the store on a daily basis. (please see job description for more details)

Full Time 40 hours per week

Requirements

• The position requires education and experience equivalent to a high school diploma and completion of occupationally specific training.
• Ability to pass criminal and other background checks.
• Valid Montana Driver's License, maintenance of a good driving record, and insurability for operation of company vehicles.
• Successfully complete phase 1 of Flathead Industries Career Path Trainings.
• Ability to successfully perform all responsibilities shown above.
