Job summary

Alltrista Plastics LLC, a Jadex Inc. subsidiary, seeks a Continuous Improvement Specialist in Greer, SC. This role drives lean manufacturing improvements, focusing on safety, quality, delivery, cost, and cycle time through waste elimination and standardized work.

You will lead kaizen events, value stream improvements, and sustain standard work while coaching teams and maintaining visual management systems on the plant floor.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in a related field or a minimum of 4 years of experience in a continuous improvement, lean manufacturing, or process improvement role.
• Demonstrated experience applying lean principles (waste reduction, 5S, visual management, standard work, problem-solving).
• Ability to influence change across teams and drive engagement in continuous improvement initiatives.
• Strong math skills for calculations and metric reporting.
• Excellent written and verbal communication for presenting data and training.

Responsibilities

• Execute short- and long-term continuous improvement objectives aligned with plant lean goals.
• Partner with leadership and cross-functional teams to identify waste, bottlenecks, and variation to eliminate them.
• Support implementation of lean systems to improve flow and efficiency.
• Apply value stream mapping and observation techniques to improve information and material flow.
• Lead or participate in kaizen events and other continuous improvement initiatives.
• Maintain standard work and visual management documentation and training.
