Job summary

DSJ Global is seeking a highly skilled Continuous Improvement Engineer for a leading plastics manufacturer in Texas. The role focuses on driving safety, quality, delivery, and productivity through Lean initiatives, daily management systems, and visual controls.

You will plan and facilitate kaizen events and work with plant leadership to establish KPIs and sustainable improvements. You will coach leaders and teams in Lean principles, building a culture of continuous improvement and measurable

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations, Business, or a related field preferred.
• 3+ years of Continuous Improvement, Lean Manufacturing, or Operational Excellence experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Hands-on experience with Lean tools including Kaizen, 5S, Standard Work, Value Stream Mapping, and Root Cause Analysis.
• Proven success driving measurable operational improvements and culture change.
• Experience coaching and developing employees and leaders on Lean methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Lead continuous improvement initiatives focused on safety, quality, delivery, and productivity.
• Drive Lean manufacturing tools, daily management systems, and visual management processes.
• Plan and facilitate kaizen events to improve operational performance.
• Partner with plant leadership to develop KPIs, solve problems, and implement sustainable improvements.
• Coach and train leaders and employees on Lean principles and problem-solving methodologies.
• Build and maintain the site's CI roadmap while fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
