Job summary

Carter LOGISTEED Express, Inc. | Carter LOGISTEED Logistics, LLC. seeks a Dock Operations Manager to plan, direct, and coordinate cross-dock and warehousing activities.

You will drive safety, productivity, and efficiency using KPIs and lead the day-to-day operations. Qualifications include a relevant degree or 3–5 years in industry, 5+ years of management experience in high-volume material handling (preferably automotive), and strong problem-solving skills for process improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or 3–5 years industry experience required.
• Strong management experience in high-volume material handling; automotive preferred.
• Ability to understand material handling equipment safely and solve problems.
• Knowledge of shipping and receiving operations.
• Proven leadership capabilities and training abilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead the day-to-day cross-dock operation
• Train on safety procedures, operational processes, and customer requirements
• Primary liaison between cross-dock and customers
• Facilitate professional development of Team Leaders and staff
• Lead and implement Kaizen activities
• Ensure adherence to company standards and processes
• Maintain a safe, secure, and productive work environment
• Foster operational improvements
• Maintain accurate performance metrics
• Work Monday - Friday; weekend requirements with notice
