Job summary

Barrington Park District is seeking an AM/PM Extended Time Site Coordinator for the K.E.E.P. program in Barrington, IL. This part-time, non-exempt role runs August through June and requires reliable transportation, strong organizational skills, and the ability to supervise daily activities.

You will work with the K.E.E.P. Supervisor and Assistant, coordinating activities, tracking attendance, managing supplies, and communicating with parents.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma preferred.
• Must possess current First Aid, CPR and AED Certification (Will train).
• DCFS Mandated Reporter Training (Will Train).
• Red Cross Epi Pen Training (Will train).

Responsibilities

• Plan, supervise and implement the daily program activities in accordance with policies of the before/after school program.
• Must have reliable transportation to commute between Park District office and K.E.E.P. site with up to date insurance.
• Responsible for picking up notes, snacks and supplies requested from the office daily.
• Arrive at school site with time to set up and prepare programming for children.
• Attend monthly Site Supervisor meetings with Recreation Managers.
• Lead monthly staff meetings or trainings to prepare the calendar and address issues.
• Establish positive liaison with parents, school personnel and community.
• Maintain attendance records; ensure proper sign-out of children.
• Manage payroll (time sheets and time clock) and submit to the office.
• Distribute information; hand in papers and payments daily.
