Job summary

Park Ridge Park District is seeking an Assistant Site Coordinator for the Before & After Care program, serving District 64 elementary schools in Park Ridge. You will plan, lead, supervise, and implement activities for children aged 5–11, ensuring safety and smooth operation of after-school activities.

The role starts in early August and runs through the 2026-2027 school year, with weekday morning and afternoon shifts.

Qualifications

• 6–12 months of experience with children ages 5-11.
• CPR/AED and first-aid certification required or obtainable before start.
• Strong written and verbal English communication.

Responsibilities

• Plan, lead, supervise, and implement activities for children ages 5–11.
• Ensure safety and smooth operation of after-school activities.
• Coordinate activities such as arts & crafts, stories, indoor/outdoor play, and homework.
