Job summary

Constellation Schools is seeking a qualified Instructional Paraprofessional in Cleveland, Ohio for the 2026-2027 School Year. Under general supervision of the Principal, the paraprofessional provides specialized educational assistance and supports teachers in lessons for students with special needs.

The role includes small-group instruction, technology support, safety training, and collaboration with staff. It may require lifting up to 50 pounds and occasional personal assistance as needed.

Qualifications

• Educational license or credential required (ESEA Qualified).
• 1-2 years' experience with students with special needs.
• Patience, maturity and ability to support students academically and emotionally.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and assist with personal care as needed.
• Willingness to follow safety plans and participate in training.

Responsibilities

• Assist students with technology and computer-based learning programs.
• Support teacher with instructional activities and assessments.
• Work with small groups and provide one-to-one support.
• Uphold safety policies and assist with student safety as needed.
• Complete required training and collaborate with staff and parents.
