Job summary

Constellation Schools is seeking a qualified Instructional Paraprofessional for the 2026-2027 school year in Cleveland, Ohio. Under supervision of the Principal, the paraprofessional provides educational assistance, supports the teacher, and helps ensure compliance with state and federal requirements.

The role involves technology-assisted learning, small-group and one-to-one instruction, and ongoing training to meet student needs.

Qualifications

• Educational aide licensure or educator licensure is required.
• 1–2 years’ experience preferred with students with special needs.
• Maturity and patience required to support students academically and emotionally.

Responsibilities

• Assist student(s) with technology and computer-based learning programs as directed.
• Support teacher with instructional activities and grade-appropriate work.
• Work with small groups for targeted instruction and one-to-one support.
• Assist with student safety per school plans and procedures.
• Participate in required training.
• Assist with lifting and personal care as needed depending on student.
• Maintain a welcoming, positive educational environment.
