Job summary

The Champlain Valley School District seeks a Math Learning Facilitator for the 2026-2027 year to strengthen math instruction across K-8. The role partners with teaching teams, interventionists, and administrators to implement research-based practices aligned with district priorities.

Ideal candidates hold a Master's in education (K-6) or Middle Grades (5-9), have instructional coaching experience, and deep MTSS/UDL knowledge.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in education and/or teaching endorsement in Elementary Education (K-6) or Middle Grades (5-9).
• Experience providing instructional coaching and supporting instruction across classrooms.
• Deep knowledge of MTSS and Universal Design for Learning (UDL) for planning.

Responsibilities

• Work with teaching teams and administrators across the K-8 system to engage educators in instructional practices.
• Facilitate data teams and analyze student performance data and work to track progress and determine action steps.
• Support teachers in using data to drive instruction with strategies tailored to student needs.
• Continuously evaluate curriculum and instructional practices for research-based alignment with district standards.
• Partner with intervention teams to unify universal instruction and targeted interventions.
• Coordinate, oversee, and support administration of assessments (benchmark, formative, summative).
• Provide recommendations for instructional shifts based on results and observations.
• Curate resources and manage budgets to ensure effective allocation of instructional materials and edtech.
