Job summary

Qualifications

• Maine certification for general elementary K-8 (020).
• Experience as math interventionist/coach preferred.
• Maine Criminal History Records Check required.

Responsibilities

• Meet with students 1:1 or in small groups for intervention.
• Coordinate benchmark system and data collection.
• Weekly progress monitoring for Tier III students.
• Identify and support the implementation of research-based math interventions for grades K-2 and 3-8.
• Be a member of the MTSS team.
• Provide teachers with professional development; in-class consultation, assistance, feedback, and modeling.
• Instructional support to strengthen math instruction schoolwide.
• Collaborate with classroom teachers to identify student needs and co-develop targeted strategies.
• Engage families with practical strategies to support math learning at home.
• Assist in grading and completion of report cards and comments.
• Attend weekly grade-level/PLC meetings.
