Job summary

Alpha is seeking a full-time, on-site Coach for a K-8 cohort, to lead life-skills workshops and motivate students to achieve 100% of their weekly app goals using Coachbot analytics and school incentives.

You will avoid traditional lectures, focusing on mentoring, feedback, and real-world skills. This role centers on building strong relationships and guiding students toward mastery and love of learning.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• At least 3 years working directly with K-8 students: teaching, tutoring, coaching, or youth program leadership.
• Comfortable with adaptive learning software delivering instruction while you coach motivation and life-skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead one-hour life-skills workshops for K-8 cohorts on public speaking, focus, and feedback.
• Conduct daily 1:1 and small-group motivation sessions using Coachbot analytics and Alpha incentive systems.
• Administer the Test2Pass mastery assessments and re-coach students until they pass.
• Adapt workshop playbook and create new sessions to land material for both kindergartener and 8th grader.
• Be the adult who holds the standard and the trusted listener for students.
