Job summary

Alpha seeks a dedicated Career Coach to run K-8 life-skills workshops, guide students toward 100% weekly app goals, and use Coachbot analytics to tailor motivation sessions. The role focuses on personal growth, mentorship, and building a strong classroom culture.

You will work on-site at Alpha campuses across supported U.S. cities, with relocation assistance available. A Bachelor’s degree and several years of direct youth experience are required.

Qualifications

• Willing to work in person at an Alpha campus in Scottsdale, AZ; relocation support provided.
• Bachelor's degree in any subject.
• At least 3 years working directly with K-8 students: classroom teaching, tutoring, coaching, or youth program work.
• Comfortable letting adaptive learning software deliver instruction while you coach motivation and life-skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead one-hour life-skills workshops for K-8 cohorts on public speaking and feedback.
• Conduct daily 1:1 and small-group motivation sessions using Coachbot analytics.
• Administer mastery assessments and re-coach until passed.
• Adapt workshop playbooks for different age groups and needs.
• Be the authoritative mentor and trusted confidant for students.
