Job summary

Alpha is hiring for a full-time, on-site role coaching K-8 students across campuses. You will lead life-skills workshops, run motivation sessions, and manage mastery assessments to help every student reach weekly goals.

The role requires at least 3 years with K-8 students, a Bachelor's degree, and a strong track record of high achievement. Relocation support is provided; work is in person at Alpha campuses.

Qualifications

• Willing to work in person at an Alpha campus with relocation support.
• Bachelor's degree in any subject.
• At least 3 years working directly with K-8 students (teaching, tutoring, coaching, camp leadership).
• Ability to let adaptive learning software deliver instruction while you coach motivation and life-skills.
• Strong track record of high achievement and holding high standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead one-hour life-skills workshops for K-8 cohorts on public speaking and focus.
• Conduct 1:1 and small-group motivation sessions to reach weekly goals.
• Administer the Test2Pass mastery assessment and re-coach until success.
• Adapt workshop content for varied ages from kindergartener to 8th grade.
• Be the trusted adult who upholds standards and supports students.
