Job summary

Caprock Academy seeks a K-8 Interventionist for the 2026-2027 school year. The role focuses on targeted math and literacy interventions, aligned with Core Knowledge curriculum and MTSS/RTI processes, to support students toward grade-level proficiency.

The position is full-time, year-round, with a starting salary range of $43,000–$55,000 depending on experience and education, reports to the K-6 Dean, and is part of a mission-driven charter school emphasizing character and academics.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in education, mathematics, literacy or related field, or equivalent plus PRAXIS by end of 1st year.
• Teaching experience preferred.
• Ability to assess student learning and adapt instruction.

Responsibilities

• Assess students' mathematical abilities and identify learning needs.
• Provide direct math and literacy intervention to students.
• Collaborate with teachers to integrate math strategies and develop intervention plans.
• Track progress and adjust interventions based on data.
• Support Title 1 Part A requirements and MTSS/RTI processes.
