Innocademy Allegan, a small Young 5s through 8th-grade school, is seeking a collaborative, self-motivated K-8 Math Interventionist to join our team for 30 hours per week. Description

The K-8 Math Interventionist will provide targeted, evidence-based mathematics instruction within a Multi-Tiered System of Supports (MTSS) framework. Working collaboratively with classroom teachers, this individual will identify student learning needs, deliver differentiated interventions, and monitor academic progress to support student growth and confidence in mathematics.

Responsibilities

• Provide targeted math intervention services through a flexible push-in and pull-out instructional model.
• Deliver differentiated instruction to meet diverse student needs across grades K-8, from foundational numeracy through algebraic readiness.
• Collaborate with general education teachers to identify student needs, implement interventions, and support academic growth.
• Help students connect foundational mathematical concepts to real-world applications.
• Administer diagnostic assessments, screening tools, and ongoing progress monitoring to evaluate student growth.
• Maintain accurate intervention records, student progress data, and documentation in accordance with school requirements.
• Analyze student performance data to adjust instructional strategies and determine appropriate intervention supports.
• Foster a positive learning environment that encourages a growth mindset, mathematical confidence, and student success.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Education from an accredited institution.
• Valid Michigan teaching certificate.
• Demonstrated experience with K-8 mathematics instruction, differentiated learning, and small-group instruction.
• Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.
• Ability to analyze student performance data and use results to guide instruction.
• Effective time management and caseload management skills.
• Flexibility and adaptability to meet changing student needs.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience using Simplify Math RTI to analyze student data, monitor skill mastery, and establish intervention entry and exit criteria.
• Michigan Elementary Education (ZG) endorsement and/or Middle School Mathematics (EX or DA) endorsement.
