Job summary

The candidate should hold a Bachelor's in Behavioral Sciences with related certifications; a graduate degree or ESA certification is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Behavioral Sciences or related field from an accredited college or university.
• Substance Use Disorder Professional certification or Certified Prevention Professional.
• Graduate level degree in Behavioral Sciences preferred or ESA certification preferred.
• Demonstrate case management/record keeping skills.
• Knowledge of alcohol and/or drug abuse federal confidentiality laws.
• Knowledge and experience in school based student assistance programs.

Responsibilities

• Treat co-workers, students, parents with dignity and respect at all times.
• Serve as a positive role model and independent adult for students.
• Provide pre-assessment screening for substance abuse, mental health needs.
• Assist students and families in accessing mental health and community services.
• Maintain valid certificates, licenses and permits as required.
