Qualifications

• Experience teaching in a K-8 school-based role.
• Proven track record of closing reading and/or math skill gaps for students below grade level.

Responsibilities

• Support, supplement and extend classroom teaching with a quality intervention program.
• Develop, implement and evaluate academic interventions for individual students.
• Assess student strengths and needs and communicate findings to teachers, parents, and specialists.
• Monitor student progress and provide feedback to students, parents, and teachers.
• Group and schedule students according to needs and provide instruction using best practices for interventions.
• Manage student behavior to maintain a safe learning environment.

Education

Master’s Degree in Education with a focus in reading and/or mathematics education
