Job summary

Saginaw Public Schools is seeking Academic Interventionists to support the delivery of instructional services for Title I eligible students. Responsibilities include adapting lessons, administering assessments, and maintaining records to help students meet grade-level standards.

Requirements include an Associate's Degree in Child Development or related field (Bachelor's preferred) and the ability to work in a multi-cultural, urban setting.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Adapt lessons to support and reinforce classroom objectives.
  • Administer tests, homework, and make-up work to support teachers.
  • Assist students individually or in small groups to practice concepts.
  • Confer with teachers and parents regarding student progress.
  • Implement instructional programs under teacher supervision.
  • Maintain classroom materials, files, and records for required assistance.
  • Perform clerical tasks and record-keeping to support instruction.
  • Respond to safety concerns and attend in-service trainings.
