Job summary

AnthroMed Education is seeking a dedicated Occupational Therapist to cover an FMLA leave for K-6 students in Odessa, DE. The role is full-time and on-site across two nearby buildings, with a caseload of about 35 students and an emphasis on AAC and sensory integration to support classroom participation.

You will collaborate with teachers and related services, participate in IEP meetings, and document progress and outcomes to ensure students access to the curriculum.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
• Delaware OT license or eligibility to obtain.
• School-based experience preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct OT evaluations and create treatment plans aligned with IEPs.
• Provide direct OT services for K-6 students in two buildings.
• Support AAC implementation, sensory needs, and proprioceptive input.
• Collaborate with teachers, families, and related service providers.
• Maintain documentation, progress notes, and reports.
