Job summary

AnthroMed Education is seeking a dedicated Occupational Therapist (OT) to support students in a K–6 school-based setting in Odessa for a FMLA leave starting in January 2027.

This full-time, onsite role involves collaborative work with educators and related service providers to help students access the curriculum and participate fully in their school day. The caseload is about 35 students across two buildings. AAC, sensory needs, and multidisciplinary teamwork are valued assets.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
• Valid Delaware Occupational Therapy License or eligibility to obtain.
• School-based experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct occupational therapy evaluations and assessments to identify students' needs.
• Develop and implement individualized OT goals and treatment plans.
• Provide direct occupational therapy services aligned with students' IEPs.
• Consult with teachers and school staff to develop strategies for independence in the classroom.
• Adapt materials and environments to support participation and learning.
• Monitor progress and adjust interventions based on data.
• Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team meetings.
• Maintain accurate treatment notes and reports.
