Job summary

AnthroMed Education is seeking a dedicated Occupational Therapist to provide full-time, onsite therapy in Monroe, Michigan. The role covers two FMLA leaves and involves collaboration with a multidisciplinary team to support students across K-12 and early childhood through transition-age groups.

Responsibilities include evaluations, IFSP/IEP support, and evidence-based interventions addressing fine motor and sensory needs, with regular documentation and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Certification as an Occupational Therapist in Michigan.
• Experience with children or school-based settings preferred.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills with diverse populations.

Responsibilities

• Provide full-time occupational therapy services, Monday-Friday.
• Conduct evaluations and assist with IFSPs/IEPs as appropriate.
• Implement evidence-based interventions for fine motor and sensory needs.
• Collaborate with families, teachers and related service providers.
• Maintain accurate documentation and use IEP systems for compliance.
• Participate in team meetings and ongoing professional development.
• Utilize a dedicated office space for therapy sessions and planning.
