Responsibilities include implementing lesson plans, taking attendance, maintaining discipline, and creating a safe learning environment while collaborating with colleagues and supervisors. Bilingual abilities are highly desirable.

Qualifications

• Must have a degree and preferably a teaching certificate in a specific content area.
• Experience with multicultural curriculum development and culturally responsive teaching.
• Previous experience working with children is preferred.
• Demonstrated classroom management skills.
• Ability to follow lesson plans accurately.
• Strong interpersonal and cross-cultural communication skills.
• Commitment to being a positive and contributing member of the professional community.
• Be available during school hours 8:00 am – 4:00 pm.
• Bilingual Mandarin/Spanish highly desirable.
