Job summary

Arcadia Unified School District is seeking an Intervention Specialist to work hourly with referrals only. You will support Reading, Math, and ELD interventions for Kindergarten through 5th grade, in small groups and 1:1, guided by data and coordination with teachers.

Responsibilities include monitoring progress toward grade-level standards, adjusting interventions as needed, and collaborating with the Academic Performance Coach and classroom staff to drive student growth.

Qualifications

• Experience working with classroom age students in small and large group settings.
• Prefer possession of a Multiple Subject Credential and English Learner Authorization.
• Teaching experience in reading, math, or ELD instruction preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support low-performing students (K-5) in small groups and 1:1 with data-informed instruction.
• Monitor progress toward grade-level standards and adjust interventions with guidance.
• Collaborate with Academic Performance Coach and classroom teacher.
