Job summary

POWER CENTER ACADEMY MIDDLE - SOUTHEAST is seeking a Part-Time Interventionist to provide targeted reading and mathematics support for kindergarten through fifth grade. The role collaborates with classroom teachers, the RTI Coordinator, and school leaders to deliver evidence-based interventions and monitor student progress.

The position is up to 29 hours per week, requires a Bachelor’s degree and a Tennessee teaching license is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university required.
• Valid Tennessee teaching license preferred.
• Reading, Elementary Education, Special Education, or related educational background preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide small-group and one-on-one intervention services in reading and/or mathematics.
• Deliver research-based instructional interventions aligned with standards and curriculum.
• Assess student needs using screening, diagnostic, and progress-monitoring data.
• Develop and implement intervention plans based on student performance.
• Monitor student progress and maintain accurate records of intervention sessions and outcomes.
• Collaborate with classroom teachers to coordinate instructional support and monitor student growth.
