Job summary

HeyTutor is partnering with a Forest Grove school district to recruit tutors for elementary students in K-5th grade during regular school hours. You will supervise groups, help students catch up from gaps, and track progress using the HeyTutor Dashboard.

Ideal candidates have an AA or higher or are currently enrolled in college, with tutoring experience and a willingness to pass an in-person background check. Spanish fluency is a plus.

Qualifications

• AA or higher or currently enrolled in college.
• Tutoring experience with kids.
• Comfortable in a classroom setting.
• Clear FBI-DOJ background check required.
• Spanish fluency is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Work with groups of students during school hours.
• Prepare tutoring area and materials for sessions.
• Take attendance and document progress using HeyTutor Dashboard.
• Lead tutoring sessions using provided curriculum.
• Assist with baseline and summative assessments as needed.
• Maintain a positive, engaging environment for students.
• Clock in/out daily for shifts and perform other duties as required.
