Job summary

HeyTutor Inc. partners with a school district in Forest Grove to hire tutors for elementary students (K-5). You will supervise students during regular school hours and help them catch up on learning gaps, with an in-person background check required.

Schedule is Monday to Friday, 4 hours per day. Pay ranges from $22 to $28 per hour, depending on education and experience; interview will determine exact compensation. HeyTutor recruits and promotes irrespective of protected status.

Qualifications

• AA or higher or current college enrollment.
• Experience tutoring kids is required.
• Comfortable in a classroom setting and pass background check (FBI-DOJ).

Responsibilities

• Supervise groups of students during tutoring sessions.
• Prepare tutoring area and lessons.
• Take attendance and document student progress.
• Lead a tutoring session using provided curriculum.
• Create an engaging, inclusive learning environment.
