HeyTutor is partnering with a Forest Grove school district to hire tutors for K-5 students during school hours. You will supervise and support students, helping them catch up on learning gaps from the prior year, with in-person sessions and a required background check.

Compensation ranges from $22 to $28 per hour, based on education and experience, with a schedule of Monday through Friday for four hours each day. HeyTutor offers attendance-based incentives, health care options, and a 401K plan.

Qualifications

• AA or higher completed or currently enrolled in college/university.
• Tutoring experience with kids.
• Comfortable working in a classroom setting.
• Clear FBI-DOJ background check.
• Spanish fluency preferred.

Responsabilités

• Work with groups of students during tutoring sessions.
• Prepare area to start tutoring session.
• Take attendance and document student progress.
• Lead tutoring sessions using provided curriculum and materials.
• Create an engaging, inclusive learning environment.
