The position is exempt with 187 duty days and immediate start. Ideal candidates will demonstrate strong classroom management, communication, and organizational skills, plus experience with differentiated instruction and parental engagement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university.
• Valid Texas teaching certificate with required endorsements for subject and level assigned.
• ESL certification required for K-5 RLA or self contained special education or general education classroom assignments.
• ESL certification preferred for Math, Science, Social Studies teaching assignments
• Ability to instruct students and manage their behavior
• Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement engaging lesson plans aligned with district curriculum.
• Provide instruction with accommodations and differentiation for diverse learners.
• Present content per TEA guidelines and district policies.
• Collaborate with staff to plan instructional goals and best practices.
• Incorporate digital tools to promote learning and creativity.
• Support selection of instructional materials and resources.
