Job summary

Katy ISD in Texas seeks a qualified teacher with a Bachelor's degree and a valid Texas teaching certificate to join our instructional team.

ESL certification is preferred for K-5 assignments. You will plan engaging lessons, monitor student progress, manage behavior, and communicate effectively with parents and staff while pursuing ongoing professional growth and potential leadership opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited university.
• Valid Texas teaching certificate with endorsements for the subject and level assigned.
• ESL certification preferred for K-5 ELA, Reading, Math, Science, Social Studies and Special Education.
• Ability to instruct students and manage their behavior.
• Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Student teaching or approved internship.
• Physically able to monitor student discipline and progress and to meet student needs.
