Elevate Charter Schools seeks an Elementary School Academic Interventionist (SRBI) to join our K–4 team in New Haven, CT. The role centers on targeted literacy interventions, with math and cross-content support as needed, driven by data and aligned with SRBI structures.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in education or a related field.
• Valid teaching certification or ability to obtain certification upon employment (CT certification or eligibility for reciprocity) is required.
• At least 2–3 years of teaching experience.
• Ability to create a safe, supportive classroom and engage students in literacy and intervention.
• Commitment to educational equity and culturally responsive practices.

Responsibilities

• Deliver targeted Tier II and III literacy intervention across K–4.
• Provide math and cross-content support as needed.
• Lead data cycles and analyze student performance to refine intervention plans.
• Collaborate with teachers, coaches, and leaders to strengthen SRBI structures.
• Engage families to support student progress.

Education
