Job summary

Alpha is hiring a Reading Interventionist for on-site work at multiple campus locations across CA, WA, CT, MA, NY, and beyond. You will create small-group K-3 sessions using structured-literacy approaches and real-time data, lead motivation sessions, and adapt instruction with AI metrics.

The role requires a structured-literacy certification or a Master’s in reading instruction, plus a teaching background in K-3 and a willingness to work on-site.

Qualifications

• Structured-literacy certification OR a Master’s in reading instruction is required.
• Bachelor’s degree plus 2+ years of full-time K-3 reading instruction experience within the last 5 years.
• Willingness to work on-site at Alpha campuses across listed locations and to use AI/adaptive tools.

Responsibilities

• Create small-group K-3 reading sessions using real-time adaptive app data.
• Lead daily motivation sessions to meet weekly app targets.
• Analyze AI-generated metrics to modify instruction during the day.
• Conduct running records, fluency assessments, and decoding diagnostics.
• Be an engaging, high-energy adult for students.
