Job summary

Alpha is hiring for a full-time on-site role focused on guiding K-3 students through app-based core learning and literacy activities. You will diagnose gaps, design targeted sequences, and maintain daily goals with ongoing assessment.

The role emphasizes hands-on teaching, small-group sessions, and continuous student support from launch to closing within a single campus. A relocation allowance is offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; teaching certificate not required.
• Structured-literacy training (LETRS, IMSE, Orton-Gillingham, Wilson, Fundations, UFLI, CERI, Neuhaus, SIPPS, Really Great Reading) or master's in reading/literacy.
• Experience with reading platforms and diagnostic assessments is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coaching students through app-based core learning and diagnosing gaps.
• Running short structured-literacy sessions with small groups and teaching a sequence to close gaps.
• Leading morning launch, workshops, and check-chart activities to keep six-year-olds engaged.
• Guiding students to weekly app goals with school currency and gamification.
• Staying with students through lunch, recess, and closing with plans for challenging cases.
