Job summary

AMS is seeking passionate Kindergarten through 2nd Grade teachers for the 26-27 school year at our Glendale, AZ campus. The role focuses on delivering rigorous, standards-aligned instruction and building strong foundational literacy and numeracy with a data-driven approach.

Responsibilities include differentiating instruction, using assessments to inform planning, maintaining a positive classroom culture, implementing PBIS, and engaging families through conferences and ongoing communication.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Education, Early Childhood Education, Elementary Education, or relevant content area.
• Arizona teaching certification in a relevant subject area OR minimum of three years of K–12 teaching experience.
• Demonstrate strong classroom management, data-driven instructional mindset, collaboration and initiative.

Responsibilities

• Deliver rigorous, standards-aligned instruction aligned to AMS curriculum frameworks.
• Differentiate instruction to support students at or above and below grade level.
• Use formative and summative assessment data to drive instructional planning and interventions.
• Build foundational reading, writing, and mathematics skills.
• Establish a structured, positive classroom environment and implement PBIS.
• Engage families and conduct conferences; participate in PLCs and school-wide initiatives.
